What MangaRecs is

MangaRecs is a discovery and progress-tracking app for manga, manhwa, manhua, and webcomics. This website is its companion catalog and account hub — you can browse titles, save them to your library, and manage your account from here, synced with the app.

How it works

1. Browse. The catalog on this site pulls live title data — synopsis, genres, cover art, ratings — from AniList's public database, so it's always current.
2. Save. Bookmark anything you're interested in. Signed in, it syncs straight to your MangaRecs account; signed out, it's kept locally in your browser until you sign in.
3. Track. In the app, mark chapters read, follow release updates, and build a streak — your library here reflects the same progress.
4. Connect. The app's social side lets you discuss what you're reading, spoiler-tagged by chapter, and see what friends are into.

We don't host, upload, or stream any third-party licensed manga, manhwa, manhua, or webcomic content ourselves. Where a title page lists "Read Available" links, those go to official, third-party sources (publisher sites, licensed reading platforms) — external pages we don't control or operate. The one exception is our Creator Dashboard, where verified creators can upload and publish their own original series — that's original work hosted with the creator's own permission, not third-party manga.

Where our data comes from

Catalog metadata (titles, synopses, genres, cover art, scores, and official reading links) is sourced from the AniList public API. MangaRecs is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AniList, MyAnimeList, or any publisher, platform, or creator referenced in our catalog. Trademarks and titles belong to their respective owners.

Reporting a listing

If a catalog entry looks wrong, an external reading link is broken or points somewhere it shouldn't, or you're a rights holder with a concern about how a title is represented here, email us and we'll look into it promptly: [email protected]. Since MangaRecs doesn't host any copyrighted content, there's nothing on our servers to remove — but we'll correct or delist a catalog entry if it's inaccurate or shouldn't be indexed.
